Similarly to the Neck/Levator-SMR Exercise, the chin to chest neck stretch may be the exercise for you!

Due to todays modern life, where people are constantly staring down at their phones, bad posture and neck pain affects up to 70% of adults nowadays.


Because of this, the muscles at the back of the neck become stiff and the bones even begin to form this way, you will need to stretch overtime to regain healthy posture.

Chin To Chest Exercise Instructions:

Target Muscle: Neck

Exercise Type: Stretch


Follow the instructions below for a possibly effective way to relieve stiffness and tension within your neck and overtime may even revert bad posture, this may also strengthen the muscles at the back of the neck.

  1. Firstly, get into a seated position.

  2. Then place both hands at the back of your head, interlock your fingers with your thumbs pointing down.

  3. Slowly pull your head down to your chest, hold this for 20-30 seconds ands then slowly bring your head back up to its starting position.
