About the Recipe

Bananas, peaches and honey bring a non-sugar added burst of natural sweetness, and a scoop of creatine monohydrate and glutamine promote better recovery after a strenuous workout.

Enjoy as a great post-workout recovery smoothie or as a healthy breakfast drink.

The banana in this smoothie will help boost muscle growth, you could split it between 2 people, or make double the amount for 2 people. The freedom of choice is yours.

Instructions

  1. Grab all ingredients and prepare the correct amounts on a clean surface.

  2. Prepare your blender and add a few ice cubes if you want a colder smoothie.

  3. Put all of the prepared ingredients into the blender (if it's too full, split the ingredients between 2 blends).

  4. Add some extra water if you would like a thinner smoothie.

  5. Add some extra honey or lemon juice for a sweeter or more tangy twitting smoothie.

Thats it! Your recovery-promoting superfood smoothie is made and ready to serve.

An interesting note is that the fruit within this smoothie contains an amazing chemical called quercetin, you can click here to learn more about how quercetin boosts muscle recovery and exercise performance.
